Me & My Bird
I was part of the team of puppeteers that toured Me & My Bird around London. The piece was inspired by the art and life story of Joseph Cornell and is performed from a suitcase that we bring to intimate, often domestic community settings.
Me & My Bird encourages audiences to go on a holiday in their imaginations, to dream about places of pleasure and curiosity. The story is brought to life through a blend of beautiful one to one engagement, puppetry and music.
Me & My Bird was made for audiences who find leaving their residential setting challenging. It was created in consultation with hospitals, home visit organisations and a charity creating social engagement opportunities for over 65s.
