Fractured Seeds in Hearts of Machine is a video series of 6 shorts that I shot, edited and directed as a video companion to Always Already, an 8-hour performance installation by Karen Christopher and Tara Fatehi Irani.
Using performance material from Always Already, reconfigured for the camera, these videos are meditations on selected moments from the project, and are designed to be viewed individually or as a collection.
Always Already premiered via live stream on 3 June 2021, presented by Dance4 and Birmingham International Dance Festival.
